Welcome to the United Way of the Central & South Okanagan/Similkameen.
2008 marks 58 years of service to the local community by United Way of the Central Okanagan with United Way of the South Okanagan/Similkameen joining in partnership in 1997.
To keep pace with our community’s rapid growth and changing needs, United Way has altered its role and rising to the challenge of becoming community builders. In addition to fundraising for our thirty-nine Community Partners, we are working with these organizations to educate the community and promote volunteerism with our various programs. We are also actively conducting research within our region to learn what future programs and policies can be implemented to better impact our community.
We believe in our community and its potential.
